Our Governors are delighted to once again be invited to the Healthzone at Mela with
the team from Newcastle Hospital Charity. They will be there all day to speak with the
public about the role of Governors and how Members can get involved.

Welcome to Sir Paul Ennals
Members who attended our Review of the Year Meeting on 17th July will know
that we welcomed a new Chair for Newcastle Hospitals, Sir Paul Ennals. Paul
joins as the Interim Shared Chair of both Newcastle Hospitals and Northumbria
Healthcare and the Governors are very much looking forward to working with
him and collaborating to improve healthcare across the North East.
The Governors would also like to thank Professor Kath McCourt for all of her
work as Interim Chair. NUTH WB would like to acknowledge Kath as a champion for change and a force for good. Thank you for everything you did for the trust.
